MonkeyLink Magnetic Insert With Connection Cable Front Light

With the MonkeyLink Interface Connect Front you add to your e-bike the unique mounting system for lights and accessories. The magnetic insert is the connector between your drive and MonkeyLink accessories on the handlebar. For this purpose, the connection cable has plugs for front light connections of common e-bike motors – such as Bosch, Shimano, Brose & FIT 2.0. In addition, the magnet insert is also available without connector plug with open end. So you can connect the MokeyLink receptacle to almost any e-bike motor.

Installation and retrofitting of the MonkeyLink magnet mount

To install the MonkeyLink magnet mount, you first need a suitable mounting option on your e-bike. For installation as a front light mount, we recommend the universal handlebar mount or a special stem like the MonkeyLink AS-ML1 or the MonkeyLink AS-ML2. Once installed in the cockpit, accessories can be attached with just one click and also removed again. For the connection to the engine, you have the choice between different connector plugs or a universal cable with open end. For connecting cables with plugs, you only need to plug it into the front light connector. If you have opted for the cable with open end, you also need a matching front light cable to your e-bike drive. With two Y Scotchlok connectors you can now connect the two cables.

Note: For e-bikes with Bosch Smart System you currently still need the cable with open end and the matching Bosch Smart System front light cable. If you are unsure about the compatibility with your e-bike, you can contact our customer service.
