The SHIMANO DEORE RD-M5120 rear derailleur is the mid-range Shimano. Already equipped with technologies of the top rear derailleurs, such as Shadow RD+, it offers excellent shifting performance. Shifting is precise, clean and fast, even under load. It is robust, of high quality and shines with a long service life. At the same time, it copes perfectly with the enormous drive forces of e-bikes.

It is compatible with 2×10 and 2×11 drives with 11-42T cassette and 1×10/11-speed drives with 11-46T cassette.

SHADOW RD PLUS
A stabiliser in the rear derailleur effectively prevents the chain from slamming off-road. This improves chain guidance and reduces the risk of the chain jumping off. In addition, the technology ensures less noise in the drive.
