Shimano Disc Brake Pad Ice-Tech J03A Resin With Cooling Finsen

The Shimano disc brake pad Ice Tech J03A Resin has aluminum cooling fins for optimized cooling of the entire brake pad in extreme situations, such as long downhill passages and MTB applications. The cooling reduces the tendency to overheat the brake pads – ”brake fading”.

Resin brake pads are made of an organic synthetic resin and thus the softer pad compound. This provides quiet braking and has excellent braking performance.

The softer pad makes itself noticeable in a slightly softer brake lever pressure point compared to metal sintered pads, which in turn leads to an easier dosage of the brake.
